Official Synopsis for Jensen Ackles Directed Supernatural Episode The Girl Next Door

We already knew that “The Girl Next Door”, the third episode of Season 7 of “Supernatural” that airs October 7th, was directed by series star Jensen Ackles and features flashbacks to 15-year-old Sam Winchester. Now we have the full official synopsis along with a summary of Episode Two, “Hello, Cruel World”, airing September 30th, which we somehow neglected to pass on previously.
Episode 7.02 “Hello, Cruel World” (9/30/11 Air Date; 9:00-10:00 PM):
Castiel (Misha Collins) continues to struggle with the burdens that come with his newfangled power. The broken wall in Sam’s (Jared Padalecki) head causes him to have hallucinations, and he has difficulty discerning what’s real and what’s not. Bobby (Jim Beaver) worries that Dean is beginning to stumble under the weight of fighting Castiel and keeping an eye on Sam.
Episode 7.03 “The Girl Next Door” (10/7/11 Air Date; 9:00-10:00 PM):
Dean (Jensen Ackles) is furious after Sam (Jared Padalecki) disappears to follow a lead on a case with clues that are identical to a case Sam solved as a kid. The demon turns out to be Amy (guest star Jewel Staite), who has been killing low-life thugs and taking their brains for dinner – the same demon Sam found as a kid. Jensen Ackles directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb and Daniel Loflin.
