Tom Holland Confirms Fright Night Comic Book Series Is Coming Back!
“Welcome to Fright Night.. for real!”
Do you guys remember the Fright Night comic book series? It ran from October 1988 – August 1990 and put out 22 issues +5 special issues within that time. Well, if you are a fan of the film and/or the comic book series based on the film, then you’ll be happy to know the comic series is coming back soon!
Writer-director Tom Holland took to Twitter today to break the awesome news writing “If you dug the ‘Fright Night’ comic book series back in the day, I have good news. I’m bringing it back! New stories and illustrations are underway. Stay tuned for more tales from Peter Vincent!”

The original film was written and directed by Tom Holland and starred Chris Sarandon, William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys, and Roddy McDowall as Peter Vincent.
Synopsis:
Teenage Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) is a horror-film junkie, so it’s no surprise that, when a reclusive new neighbor named Jerry Dandridge (Chris Sarandon) moves next-door, Brewster becomes convinced he is a vampire. It’s also no surprise when nobody believes him. However, after strange events begin to occur, Charlie has no choice but to turn to the only person who could possibly help: washed-up television vampire killer Peter Vincent (Roddy McDowall).
