Exclusive: The Exorcist’s Eileen Dietz Joins Paper Dragons
It’s not every day that we get to exclusively reveal a new film starring none other than The Exorcist’s Eileen Dietz, so today is clearly a special day for us. Dietz, who portrayed the face of the demon Pazuzu in William Friedkin’s 1973 masterpiece and is also know for her appearances in “General Hospital” and Monsterland, has joined the cast of the upcoming thriller Paper Dragons, which will be directed by All American Bully‘s Jason Hawkins.
Also starring Sam Brittan, the film will start shooting this month in Seattle, Washington.
Dietz was also recently in director Peter Vack’s Assholes, which won the Adam Yauch Hörnblowér Award at the SXSW Film Festival. You’ll find the plot details for Paper Dragons below.
Synopsis:
Husband, Father, Provider… these things define a man in today’s society, so when Greyson Bell finds them being stripped away from him, he is thrown into a world of violence that quickly spins out of control. Paper Dragons is the story of a man drowning in a world that values social media “likes” more than it does the human heart behind them. Cut off, isolated, lonely, and heartbroken, Greyson is a man at the end of his rope, forcing us to answer the question: When a man has lost everything, what remains?
