Trailer For Shane Black’s The Predator Will Debut at Cinemacon This Month

Shane Black’s The Predator will be blasting its awesome way onto big screens (in 3D) this August. So when can we expect to see a trailer and/or a teaser? Soon!

In fact, the teaser is all set to debut at this year’s Cinemacon, says none other than Shane Black himself who took to Twitter, writing, “the teaser that drops this month is for Cinemacon only… THEN it goes to theaters. My bad. Patience.

And in a fun extra bit, Black adds: “Go rent Insidious: The Last Key, meantime. Great stuff.”

The Predator stars Thomas Jane, Edward James Olmos, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Olivia Munn, Alfie Allen, Yvonne Strahovski, Augusto Aguilera, and Keegan-Michael Key.

Black is directing from a script by Fred Dekker. John Davis, Joel Silver, and Lawrence Gordon — who produced the original — are producing. The Predator comes out September 14, 2018.

CinemaCon hits Caesars Palace in Las Vegas April 23-26 2018.

Predator (1987) synopsis:

Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger), a soldier of fortune, is hired by the U.S. government to secretly rescue a group of politicians trapped in Guatemala. But when Dutch and his team, which includes weapons expert Blain (Jesse Ventura) and CIA agent George (Carl Weathers), land in Central America, something is gravely wrong. After finding a string of dead bodies, the crew discovers they are being hunted by a brutal creature with superhuman strength and the ability to disappear into its surroundings.
