THE JURASSIC GAMES Is a Real Movie and Here’s the Trailer to Prove It

I don’t know if you guys have ever heard of an old screenwriting game called “Meets”, but it’s basically what you’d imagine. In trying to come up with movie plots you just take a list of classic films mash them together.

Star Wars meets Harry Potter = Star Wizard,” or “Stephen King’s IT meets The Fast and the Furious = The Penny and the Wise.

These are horrible examples (or are they?) but you get the idea. And this idea seems to be at play here in the new film “Jurassic World/Park meets The Hunger Games.”

Yes, The Jurassic Games is a real movie and today we have the film’s trailer and poster to share with you guys – just so you believe us. Stranger still is that the film stars Perrey Reeves, who most of the world knows as Ari’s wife from Entourage, but all of us know as De Silva from Child’s Play 3. Poor girl.

You can check out the poster to the right and the trailer below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think of this mash-up in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

The film is directed by Emmy Award-winning director Ryan Bellgardt (Gremlin, Army of Frankensteins) and stars Ryan Merriman (Final Destination 3) and Perrey Reeves (Child’s Play 3). It hits Digital June 12 and DVD July 3.

Synopsis:

Every year, 10 of the world’s most lethal death row criminals are chosen to compete for their freedom in The Jurassic Games, a TV show where contestants must survive against a variety of ferocious dinosaurs. The players all die gruesomely in the game zone except for one, the last one standing, the winner, who is granted not only his freedom, but fame and fortune. Survive the dinosaurs. Survive each other. Survive…The Jurassic Games.
