Tremble at the Sight of Sideshow Collectibles’ New DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Statue

I’ll admit that I’m not a huge Dungeons & Dragons fan, mostly because I’m British and it isn’t too well known over here. But at the same time, I’ve absolutely fallen in love with Sideshow Collectibles’ new statue of Klauth, one of the most fearsome dragons in the Forgotten Realms campaign setting.

Dragon enthusiasts will also be pleased to see that Klauth has four legs in addition to a pair of wings, whereas most modern depictions of dragons make the mistake of putting their wings where their front legs should be, inadvertently making them into wyverns. If only someone had sent this statue to Peter Jackson before he made the Hobbit movies.

Klauth is also pretty damn big, evidenced by the fact that he dwarfs the mountain fortress he’s standing atop of. It will probably come as no surprise that he’s one of the largest creatures in the world of Forgotten Reals, and if you look carefully, you can also see that he’s also covered in scars from the endless battles he’s participated in throughout his long life.

The polystone Klauth statue was manufactured by Pop Culture Shock, and will measure at 24 inches both in length and height. It will be limited to 300 copies, so if you have $699.99 to spare, you had better waste no time ordering yours when it ships next May.
