Killer kid flicks are always a safe bet when it comes to bringing the freaky goods, but when said killer kids are also scientifically spawned mutants hungry for flesh, things get a little more icky! Cue Antoine Thomas’ Hidden 3D, coming to Blu-ray in the UK on October 10th courtesy of G2 Pictures.

From the Press Release:
Shot in Italy and Canada for $8 million, Hidden is a chilling new feature from G2 Pictures starring Sean Clement (Fringe) and Simonetta Solder (Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy).

The story begins when Brian Karter’s mother dies. He is surprised to learn that he has inherited The Sanctuary, home to her controversial experimental addiction treatment center. During a tour of the decrepit building with his friends and a mysterious associate of his mother, it becomes clear that something sinister lies beneath the surface. Despite their misgivings, the group members follow a secret passageway underground and come to a terrible realization: Brian’s mother built a revolutionary machine that cured people of their addictions but, as a side effect, caused those addictions to materialize in the form of mutant children hungry for human flesh, now living in the bowels of the abandoned building. With the mutant children hunting the group as prey, Brian and his friends fight to stay alive against the inconceivable and soon realize that some things are better left hidden.

For the full 3D treatment you’ll need to pick up the Blu-ray release, which packs a standard 2D presentation alongside a full stereoscopic 3D version (click here to pre-order). The DVD sports good ol’ flat-as-a-pancake 2D only but is available now. Order it below from the EvilShop!
