Latest WORLD WAR Z Game Trailer Heads To Moscow
We’re still not entirely sold on the idea of a video game set in the World War Z universe, but the latest trailer for the game in question gives us our first look at the actual gameplay, and I have to say, it looks, well, like a fairly standard zombie shooter with a few melee combat elements thrown in. Have a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments.
Although this trailer takes place in Moscow, World War Z will have missions set all over the world, with New York and Jerusalem being other confirmed locations. And yes, before you ask, the zombies will be piling on top of each other to form zombie pyramids in the game, just like they did in the film. Make of that what you will.
World War Z is being developed by Saber Interactive, the folks behind TimeShift and Inversion, which were both fairly enjoyable but far from groundbreaking shooters. In other words, although WWZ probably won’t be the next Dying Light, it should still be entertaining enough in the long run.
The game does not yet have a release date, but we can expect to see more at E3 next month. Paramount have also hired David Fincher to direct the second WWZ movie, although it’s still only in the scripting stages.
