Fangoria Starts SATANIC PANIC With Grady Hendrix

Grady Hendrix

Fangoria is not only revamping in a big way soon, but it looks like they’re getting into the filmmaking game as well. Their first film Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich hits this August and today we have word on their next.

Fangoria has acquired Grady Hendrix’s spec script Satanic Panic reports Deadline. Hendrix came up with the idea along with writer-director Ted Geoghegan (We Are Still Here) who he worked with on the recent action-thriller Mohawk (trailer below).

The film is described as “an After Hours-esque dark comedy in a supernatural setting” and you can read the full synopsis below. Dallas Sonnier, Adam Goldworm, and Amanda Presmyk produce. Phil Nobile Jr. is exec producer. The search for a director will begin shortly.

Along with this new film, Hendrix’s novel My Best Friend’s Exorcism is being produced by the Gotham Group and Horrorstor is being developed as a series with Josh Schwartz, Charlie Kaufman and Gail Berman executive producing.

Synopsis:

A pizza delivery girl at the end of her financial rope has to fight for her life — and her tips — when her last order of the night turns out to be high society Satanists in need of a virgin sacrifice.
