Bad Robot Picks Up New Sci-Fi Thriller APORIA
Looks like Paramount and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot have an all-new sci-fi project in the works. Is it a new Cloverfield film? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
The sci-fi thriller is called Aporia and (go figure) it’s plot is being kept secret. That said, THR reports the project is being described as a grounded sci-fi drama with time-travel elements.
It comes to us from screenwriter Jared Moshe who wrote and directed the Western thriller The Ballad of Lefty Brown, which starred Bill Pullman and Peter Fonda. Moshe is also attached to direct this new film.
Paramount picked up the sci-fi spec script with J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot producing along with Neda Armian. Bad Robot’s next film is the World War II Nazi zombie movie, Overlord, which hits October 26th.
