E3 2018: Eat or Be Eaten in FEAR THE WOLVES Trailer

Focus Home Interactive have released the E3 trailer for their upcoming battle royale first-person shooter Fear the Wolves, which is being is being developed by Vostok Games, a team mostly consisting of people who worked on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise.

Fear The Wolves takes place in a radioactive wasteland where you’ll have to use nothing but your wits, fists, and whatever you can find to protect yourself after you parachute into the deadly battleground. As its name suggests, wolves will be a common enemy within the game, but you’ll also be going up against deadly mutated creatures and enemy soldiers. In order to win a match, you’ll either have to be the first person to reach a helicopter extraction point, or you can simply kill all the other players until you’re the only one remaining. We think we prefer the latter option.

We can look forward to playing Fear The Wolves on Steam Early Access later this summer, before it receives a full release on PC and consoles next year. With Fortnite and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds being the biggest things in the world right now, it will be interesting to see how a more horror-focused battle royale shooter fares in today’s crowded market.
