E3 2018: Your Decisions Will Shape The Outcome In DYING LIGHT 2
Dying Light could very well be one of the best zombie games of all time, so the announcement of a sequel during Microsoft’s E3 press conference practically has us shitting our pants with excitement.
Dying Light 2 will take place fifteen years after the zombie outbreak, with the remaining pockets of humanity having devolved into gang-like factions. We see from the announcement trailer that you’ll have to rescue a woman who is about to be burned at stake, raising the question of whether the people in the world of Dying Light are any better than the zombies.
Aside from the trailer, a gameplay video was also featured at E3, which shows that parkour, which was a major staple of the first game, will be returning in full force. We don’t actually see any zombies until right at the very end of the trailer, so be sure to watch it all the way through.
We also learned that unlike its predecessor, Dying Light 2 will feature choice-based gameplay which can have major consequences, with the promise that each player’s experience with the game will be unique. Techland have certainly come a long way from the buggy mess that was Dead Island, so we truly can’t wait to learn more about Dying Light 2.
