E3 2018: Bethesda Announce Two New WOLFENSTEIN Games
Bethesda must really hate Nazis, because they announced not one, but two new Wolfenstein games at E3. It sounds like you’re probably gonna be needing a shower to wash off all that Nazi blood when you’re finished with them.
Firstly, there was Wolfenstein Youngblood, which will be a two-player co-operative shooter featuring the daughters of longtime series protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz. It will be set in Nazi-occupied Paris in the 1980s, making it the most modern Wolfenstein game to date, chronologically speaking. The two women will be searching for their father in the city, and will be killing a whole ton of Nazis along the way. The game is set to release sometime this year.
And then there was Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, which will be a VR adventure where you play as a resistance hacker. No actual gameplay was shown for this one, but Bethesda conformed that it will also be releasing this year.
Cyberpilot will once again take place in Paris in the 1980s, although you won’t have much time to take in the sights and sounds of the most romantic city in the world, as you’ll be too busy taking control of giant war machines to slaughter waves of Nazi scum. And frankly, that sounds like our perfect Paris vacation.
