A couple of stories regarding AMC’s “The Walking Dead” crossed our desk this morning. First up is the series’ Spread the Dead Avatar Generator on Facebook, which gives you the chance to see what you’d look like as a zombie or a survivor. Next is a peek at “The Walking Dead Comic Officer Rick Grimes – Bloody Version” figure McFarlane Toys will be selling exclusively this weekend at the New York Comic Con.

“The Walking Dead” Facebook App:
The world is over. The dead have risen. It’s time to suit up — on Facebook, that is. AMC is giving you the chance to see what you’d look like as a zombie or a zombie-hunter with “The Walking Dead”‘s Spread the Dead Avatar Generator. Decide whether you’re alive or undead, male or female, then get to work on constructing your virtual self with physical features, clothing and, in the case of the walkers, wounds. Sound fun? Then get started with this Walking Dead Facebook app today by clicking on the image below.

McFarlane Toys Unleashes “The Walking Dead” Zombie Apocalypse on NYCC Fans:
McFarlane Toys and NYCC are teaming up to bring NYCC fans the launch of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” TV Series 1 figure line. The four figure line features Deputy Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Zombie Walker and Zombie Biter. The full set will retail for $60 at the official NYCC show store. The figures are slated to release late November 2011 nationwide, but an extremely limited number of sets are available exclusively during the show.

McFarlane loves creating event exclusive figures, and their friends over at Toys”R”Us feel the same way. So they put their creative teams together, and the result is an exclusive “The Walking Dead Comic Officer Rick Grimes – Bloody Version” (see below). The limited edition Bloody Officer Rick Grimes will sell for $20 at Entertainment Earth’s Booth #644.

Don’t miss your chance to get The Walking Dead Comic figure signed by Todd McFarlane – Saturday, October 15, from 10 AM to 11 AM – at the Entertainment Earth Booth (#644).

Ket tells Kim the rest of Smile 2. Listen, I sincerely hope that you have all put your fast pants on and haven’t borrowed any pants from either of Ket’s life partners, Kim OR Arik, because they only wear slow pants.
