E3 2018: OVERWHELM is MEGA MAN For Horror Fans

One of the more curious titles to be revealed at E3 is Untitled Publisher’s (yes, that’s their name) Overwhelm. Described by developer Ruari O’Sullivan, “…it’s horror-world Megaman. You fight bosses, but your enemies get the powerups – not you. You’re outnumbered, low on ammo, being hunted. Paranoia sets in.” Count us in!

The game features a sparse yet constantly dangerous map, enemies that grow stronger while you remain the same, unforgiving combat (one hit and you’re dead, three deaths and the run is over), and a badass synth-heavy soundtrack. I have a sneaking suspicion that this pixel-driven game is going to attract a lot of attention.

You’re outnumbered, low on ammunition and the paranoia sets in. This is an action horror-world where enemies get power-ups and you don’t.

Overwhelm is available to purchase right now on Steam.
