New HATCHET: VENGEANCE Comic Miniseries Coming this Halloween!
Like most of you guys out there, all of us here at Dread Central are big fans of director Adam Green and his Hatchet films, including the recent reboot/sequel Victor Crowley.
And it is with this in mind we’re looking forward to the upcoming comic book miniseries Hatchet: Vengeance written by James Kuhoric and illustrated by Puis Calzada.
The first issue will be available with four cover variants including “Faceoff” by Puis Calzada (to the right), a 450 limited “Bloody Horror” version of Calzada’s cover, and “Blood & Gore” by Buz Hasson and Ken Haeser (see both below). And on top of that, the fourth cover variant titled “Bikini Optional” by Mike Wolfer will be revealed soon.

Synopsis:
Things die hard in the swamp. Victor Crowley’s fury is unquenchable despite the rivers of blood beneath his terrible touch. But vengeance never dies. When a mother driven mad with grief seeks a voodoo priestess to end the beast that slaughtered her child, a new horror is unleashed on Honey Island Swamp and an unsuspecting group of teens is caught in a bloody monster free-for-all! This is classic violent slasher horror at its best and bloodiest!
