Twenty-one years ago, residents of San Diego, California were shocked to learn that not only did a U.F.O. death cult live in our fair city, but all 39 members of the cult had just commit mass suicide in a mansion right in the heart of town. As San Diego and the rest of the country watched, fascinated as the events of the “largest mass suicide in United States history” unfolded, so to did my infatuation with cults.

This week on the Who Goes There Podcast, we’re joined by Alia and Rhett to discuss 2017’s The Endless. Written and directed by the team behind Spring and Resolution, The Endless is about two brothers who return to the cult they fled from years ago. Only to discover that the group’s beliefs may be more sane than they once thought. Please, you listen.
