UNFRIENDED: DARK WEB and FOUND FOOTAGE 3D Earn R Ratings
Blumhouse’s Unfriended: Dark Web will be hitting theaters July 20th and today we have word that the film has snagged an R-rating via the MPAA for “some disturbing violence, language, and sexual references.”
On top of that flick getting slapped with an R-rating, fellow found footage flick Found Footage 3D landed an R as well for “language throughout, violence/gore, and a scene of sexuality.”

The film is written and directed by Stephen Susco and stars Betty Gabriel, Colin Woodell, Andrew Lees, and Connor Del Rio. It hits theaters July 20th.
Synopsis:

When a 20-something finds a cache of hidden files on his new laptop, he and his friends are unwittingly thrust into the depths of the dark web.
