If you need any more convincing that Sheffield’s Showroom Cinema, on Paternoster Row in the city’s centre, is the place to be this weekend (October 21st-23rd), then feel free to feast your eyes on the goodies on offer in this year’s festival programme – and also on some striking horror-themed art during the festival itself!
Sporting a weekend full of brand new slices of terror-ific entertainment both long and short, alongside a bevy of guests, merchandise stalls and more, with the release of the programme the festival also announced The Horror Show, a collection of art inspired by the world of horror:
“New for 2011, Celluloid Screams has teamed up with a collective of local and nationally renowned artists to produce a curated art exhibition. The brief was kept deliberately broad – horror. Be it a horror icon, a favourite film or guilty pleasure, each artist has created an original piece of work to reflect this brief. Artists include Mute, Geo Law, Jelly and more. The exhibition will run in the Showroom Café Bar for all three days of the festival.”
Check out artist Geo Law’s entries here.
For the full lineup check out our previous story on the fest here.
