Bella Thorne Thriller RIDE Finds Distribution

Looks like the Bella Thorne thriller Ride has just snagged itself a distributor. Yes, THR reports the thriller has been picked up by RLJE who plans a theatrical, VOD and digital release this Fall.

With its talented young cast and thrilling plotline, we know audiences are going to be drawn to Ride,” said Mark Ward, chief acquisitions officer for RLJE Films, in a statement.

The thriller, which also stars Jessie T. Usher and Will Brill (The OA) marks the feature film debut of writer-director Jeremy Ungar. Ride is produced by Keith Kjarval, Tyler Jackson, and Sefton Fincham. Robert Jones and Wayne Marc Godfrey executive produce, along with David Grace, Mike Rowe, Levi Sheck, and Dean Buchanan.

Synopsis:

Ride follows James (Usher), a ride-share driver, and his passenger, Jessica (Thorne), as they pick up the charismatic but manipulative Bruno (Brill) — as a night out in Los Angeles becomes a psychological war for survival.
