Exclusive: New Trailer Revealed for Dread Central Presents’ LASSO

In April of this year, we announced that Dread Central Presents had locked down director Evan Cecil and writer Roberto Marinas’s Lasso, a horror/thriller that we’ve been told features 20 unique kills over a runtime of 97 minutes! Now we’re here to tell you that you don’t have that much longer to wait to see it as we’ll be releasing it on OnDemand platforms on November 13! If that’s not enough, check out our new teaser above, which celebrates the film’s FrightFest appearance.

“Lasso centers around Simon and Kit, two leaders of an Active Senior Tour group visiting a remote small-town rodeo festival. It’s a great experience for the group…until they try to leave. The duo eventually join with a one-armed cowboy, a rodeo queen, and a powerhouse female bull rider in their fight to survive the night and save what seniors they can from bloodthirsty cowboys on the hunt for human livestock. Roberto Marinas wrote the screenplay from a story by Marinas and Cecil.”

The film stars Sean Patrick Flanery, Lindsey Morgan, Andrew Jacobs, Karen Grassle, and Benedita Pereira.

Lasso will be making its UK premiere next month at Arrow Video FrightFest in London on August 25 at 11pm at the Prince Charles Cinema (Discovery Two). Arrow Video FrightFest takes place at Cineworld Leicester Square and The Prince Charles Cinema between Aug 23-Aug 27. Ticket information can be found at the festival’s official website.
