KRAVEN THE HUNTER Movie Snares EQUALIZER II Screenwriter
Well, we already have a Venom movie in the works, along with a Morbius The Living Vampire movie with Jared Leto, so why not throw in infamous Spider-Man villain Kraven the Hunter for good measure?
That’s exactly what Sony is thinking today as Collider reports the studio has just hired a screenwriter Richard Wenk for the upcoming big-budget standalone film.
Wenk is known for penning films such as 16 Blocks, The Mechanic, The Expendables 2, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, Antoine Fuqua’s remake of The Magnificent Seven, and most recently, The Equalizer 2.

Rundown via Collider:
Also known as Sergei Kravinoff, Kraven the Hunter is one of Spider-Man’s best known and most formidable enemies, as well as the half-brother of the Chameleon. The character has appeared in numerous Spider-Man properties including animated series, video games and of course, the Marvel comics, including the popular story Kraven’s Last Hunt. Kraven is known for hunting big game, but what is Kraven without his white whale Spider-Man, who he considers his ultimate trophy?
