This third season stars Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, Carmen Ejogo, Stephen Dorff, Scoot McNairy, Mamie Gummer and Ray Fisher. Pizzolatto wrote every episode this season except for episode four which David Milch co-wrote.
Season three is expected to debut in January 2019.
Synopsis:
True Detective season 3 follows a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks, a mystery that’s said to deepen over decades and play out in three separate time periods.
