Exclusive HEREDITARY Extended Scene is Deceptively Tender and Sweet
With the impending home video and digital release of this year’s brilliant horror film Hereditary just around the corner, we felt that it would be a disservice to not find something special for all of you to check out. That’s why we managed to convince the powers that be to give all of you a look at an extended scene from the film.
Taking place the night after the funeral of the Graham family’s grandmother/mother, we see Peter, the son of the family, gently strumming his guitar when his parents come by to say good night and ask him how he’s feeling. It’s a rather tender and touching moment, one that absolutely deceives as to what is to come.
When Ellen, the matriarch of the Graham family, passes away, her daughter’s family begins to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry. The more they discover, the more they find themselves trying to outrun the sinister fate they seem to have inherited.
Academy Award-nominee Toni Collette stars in this riveting film from writer/director Ari Aster about a grieving family haunted by tragic and disturbing events. From the producers of The Witch and Split, Hereditary also stars Alex Wolff (My Friend Dahmer), newcomer Milly Shapiro, Ann Dowd (The Handmaid’s Tale), and Gabriel Byrne (End of Days).
Hereditary arrives on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (plus Blu-ray and Digital), Blu-ray Combo Pack (plus DVD and Digital), and DVD September 4th. You can buy it on Amazon.
