Decker Returns in Clive Barker’s NIGHTBREED TV Series!
Two months back, we passed along the killer news that Clive Barker’s Nightbreed is getting its own TV series via Barker and Piranha 3DD and Sorority Row screenwriter Josh Stolberg. The series is still in development, but today we have an awesome update.
Turns out the series plans to bring back Dr. Philip K. Decker! Decker was played by Scanners and Rabid director David Cronenberg in Barker’s original film. There’s no word on if Cronenberg will return to the role… But don’t count on it.
Stolberg announced the news on Twitter. Check out his tweet below, then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!
Synopsis:
Aaron Boone (Craig Sheffer) is haunted by terrifying nightmares of a city of monsters. He goes to see a psychiatrist, Dr. Decker (David Cronenberg), for help. But what Boone doesn’t know is that Decker is really a serial killer. Decker frames Boone to take the fall for his murders, and Boone is killed by the police. But Boone is brought back to life by the monsters of his dreams, the Nightbreed, who in turn join Boone in his quest to stop Decker from killing again.
