Etheria Film Night 2019 Opens Call For Submissions
Today sees the opening of Etheria Film Night’s call for submissions for their 2019 festival, which sees new and inventive short genre films from female directors play at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles. Co-presented by the American Cinematheque, the festival will take place in June of 2019 and each screening will be followed by a Q&A with directors in attendance.
“I just want to see more really great films,” says Etheria programmer Heidi Honeycutt of the shorts lineup. “This is the part of the festival I enjoy the most: seeing all the new work from all the new directors. So, bring it.”
“We doing this, or what?” exclaimed Festival Director, Stacy Pippi Hammon. “The wait is over! We are ready to dive into all the goodness folks have been working on since our last season!”
Previous years have seen films from directors such as Axelle Carolyn, Rose McGowan, Anna Biller, Amber Benson, and more.
Those who wish to submit their film can do so through Film Freeway.
