Trailer for Wednesday’s Episode of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: APOCALYPSE Hints at Witches’ Arrival
For a season whose hype was built almost exclusively on the fact that it’s a crossover between Murder House (Season 1) and Coven (Season 3), the first episode of American Horror Story: Apocalypse (“The End”) offered nothing familiar. Sure, we met a grown-up Michael Langdon, the baby antichrist from Murder House, but the character is played by a different actor. Besides that, it was nothing but new characters, settings, and tropes.
The trailer for Episode 2, “The Morning After”, however, hints at the arrival of at least some of the witches from Coven. We also see a glimpse of “The Rubber Man” from Murder House, but since he’s tied to the property, it’s not clear how his presence at Outpost Three is even possible (unless it’s Halloween, the one night a year Murder House ghosts may roam).
It’s possible the Coven and Murder House clips are actually from episodes beyond “The Morning After”, but the trailer below is still plenty thrilling.
Synopsis:
After the nuclear apocalypse, the world’s chosen elite survive in secure outposts created by the mysterious Cooperative in “American Horror Story: Apocalypse.” On the American West Coast, Ms. Wilhemina Venable and Ms. Miriam Mead run Outpost Three with an iron fist. The unexpected arrival of Michael Langdon, a Cooperative representative determined to save society with a secret paradise, throws their order into chaos. However, underneath the surface of humanity’s salvation lies a battlefield for the final conflict between good and evil. “American Horror Story: Apocalypse” features Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Cody Fern, and Evan Peters.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse airs Wednesdays on FX at 10 PM.
