First Look: Chuck’s Back in CHILD’S PLAY Remake!

Recently we passed along the news that Aubrey Plaza (Legion) and Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta) have been cast in Polaroid director Lars Klevberg and MGM’s upcoming remake/reboot of the classic killer doll franchise Child’s Play from the producers of Stephen King’s IT.

And today we have word that Lights Out star Gabriel Bateman will be taking on the role of new Andy Barclay. Not only that, but the film has officially started shooting and we also have your first look at the new Chucky!

The remake/reboot is directed by Lars Klevberg (Polaroid) from a screenplay written by Tyler Burton Smith (Kung Fury 2) produced by David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith (IT) via their KatzSmith Productions banner. Aaron Schmidt will serve as an executive producer. The film is now shooting.
