SCREAMERS Burrows Onto Blu-ray This January
This January, Scream Factory brings Christian Duguay and Dan O’Bannon’s Screamers starring Peter Weller (RoboCop) to Blu-ray. Extras will be announced on a later date.

The film was directed by Christian Duguay from a screenplay written by Dan O’Bannon (Alien, Return of the Living Dead) and Miguel Tejada-Flores based on a short story by Philip K. Dick (Blade Runner, Total Recall).
Weller’s co-stars include Roy Dupuis, Jennifer Rubin, and Andrew Lauer. Franco Battista and Tom Berry produced and Charles W. Fries served as executive producer. Screamers will be hitting Blu-ray via Scream Factory on January 29th, 2019. Pre-order HERE.
Synopsis:
Cmdr. Joe Hendricksson (Peter Weller) and new recruit Ace Jefferson (Andy Lauer) set out across the surface of Sirius 6B, where they hope to settle a violent labor dispute at a remote mining outpost. After going too far to turn back, they find the desert riddled with deadly Autonomous Mobile Swords, or “Screamers.” Created to protect the mines, these burrowing weapons have learned to replicate themselves. To make matters worse, recent generations of Screamers can assume humanoid form.
