How Much $$$ Did GOOSEBUMPS: HAUNTED HALLOWEEN Make This Weekend?

This weekend we finally saw the release of the highly anticipated kid-horror sequel Goosebumps: Haunted Halloween. But how did the movie fare at the weekend box-office? Let’s find out!
Goosebumps 2 opened in fourth place with an estimated $16.2 million. Not too. Bad. That said, the original film opened to $23.6 million back in 2015, before going on to score a total of $80 million domestic.
The $35 million sequel played to an audience that was split 50-50 male to female with 72% of the audience coming in under the age of 25. Goosebumps 2 received a “B” CinemaScore from opening day audiences.

Ari Sandel directed the film from a screenplay written by Rob Lieber. It stars Madison Iseman, Ben O’Brien, Caleel Harris, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ken Jeong, and Chris Parnell. It’s now playing in theaters.
