VENOM Scores #1 at Box-Office Again
Last weekend, Tom Hardy’s Venom fought it’s PG-13 way into your local multiplex to the tune of an opening weekend of $80 million. Super impressive. But how did it do in its second weekend?
Well, the film held onto the top spot with an estimated $35.7 million, dropped just 55% in its second weekend as the film’s domestic cume now totals $143 million.
Internationally, Venom remained the #1 film delivering an international cume now totaling $235.3 million.

Synopsis:
Journalist Eddie Brock is trying to take down Carlton Drake, the notorious and brilliant founder of the Life Foundation. While investigating one of Drake’s experiments, Eddie’s body merges with the alien Venom — leaving him with superhuman strength and power.
