HALLOWEEN Parody Imagines 60 Years of Terror

Team Dread Central was in the house at the Halloween: 40 Years of Terror Convention in Pasadena this weekend. Expect all things Michael Myers to surge in popularity once Blumhouse’s sequel to John Carpenter’s 1978 classic Halloween hits theaters this weekend. The film is poised to reinvigorate the slasher subgenre of horror for at least another 20 years.

There’s a distinct possibility genre fans will be celebrating 60 Years of Terror in 2038 and, at the rate he’s going, The Shape will still be raising hell! To that end, the folks at Fuzz on the Lens have created Halloween 60, a parody that’s also a loving tribute to Halloween’s legacy. Evil never dies!

The Myers mask used in Halloween 60 was made from a mold of William Shatner’s face as it looks today. Give it a spin below!

Synopsis:
It’s the year 2038 and Michael Myers has returned to Haddonfield once again to finish what he started…60 years ago. Now at the ripe age of 81, the man once known as the “SHAPE”  is out of shape but is somehow still feared by all. Watch as he faces off against Laurie Strode, one last time, again …. maybe, in this shot for shot recreation of the 2018 Halloween trailer.

Special Thanks to Nikos Dresios (NAG Masks) for the creation of the “Old Myers” (current aged William Shatner face), Matt Provenzano of Purple Cloud, Chrissy Manzione (for the drawings), and Jack Norman!
