Trailer for ALL THE CREATURES WERE STIRRING Brings Horror Home for the Holidays
With Mike Dougherty’s Krampus in 2015 and the stark Better Watch Out in 2017, Christmas-themed horror movies have been upping the ante in recent years. No longer the stuff of b-movie bargain bins or watered-down horror comedies, talented fear practitioners are bringing terror home for the holidays. The next potential anti-Christmas classic might just be All the Creatures Were Stirring; we’ve just watched the trailer, and it’s definitely something special!
A reimagining of A Christmas Carol meets a fucked-up office gift swap and… aliens? All the Creatures Were Stirring is written and directed by David Ian McKendry and Shockwaves podcast co-host Rebekah McKendry; the film stars Constance Wu, Amanda Fuller, Jonathan Kite, Jocelin Donahue, Graham Skipper, Ashley Clements, Morgan Peter Brown, Jesse Merlin, and Matt Mercer, among others.
Look for All the Creatures Were Stirring in select theaters and VOD platforms beginning December 4th with a Blu-ray/DVD release set for January 8th.
