American Horror Story: Another Guest Star Joins the Cast; A New Clip from Episode 6 – Piggy, Piggy

In case the last clip we ran from tomorrow night’s episode of “American Horror Story” didn’t quite whet your appetite enough to make sure you tune in, we have another one for you today, this time featuring Eric Stonestreet (“Modern Family”). And while we’re on the subject of guest stars, the show has added yet another: “Homeland”‘s Amir Arison.

Per THR Arison will appear in the November 16th “Open House” episode as Joe Escandarian, a real estate developer interested in buying the Harmons’ home with an intent that upsets many of the house’s current “occupants.” “AHS” insiders say Arison’s appearance as Joe will answer several of the series’ burning questions that are as yet unresolved. Considering Joe, like Ben (Dylan McDermott), is able to see a young Moira (Alexandra Breckenridge), that might be among them.

“American Horror Story”, co-created by former “Nip/Tuck” executive producers and current “Glee” co-creators/executive producers Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, revolves around The Harmons, a family of three who move from Boston to Los Angeles as a means to reconcile past anguish. The all star cast features Dylan McDermott (“The Practice”) as “Ben Harmon,” a psychiatrist; Connie Britton (“Friday Night Lights”) as “Vivien Harmon,” Ben’s wife; Taissa Farmiga as “Violet,” the Harmons’ teenage daughter; Jessica Lange (Tootsie, Blue Sky, Grey Gardens) in her first-ever regular series TV role as “Constance,” the Harmons’ neighbor; Evan Peters (“One Tree Hill”) plays “Tate Langdon,” one of Ben’s patients; and Denis O’Hare (“The Good Wife”) as “Larry Harvey.”

Guest stars for the series include Frances Conroy (“Six Feet Under”) as the Harmons’ housekeeper; Alexandra Breckenridge (Dirt) as the Harmons’ housekeeper; Jamie Brewer as Constance’s daughter; Zachary Quinto; Teddy Sears; Morris Chestnut; Eric Stonestreet; and Sarah Paulson.
