Exclusive SNAKE OUTTA COMPTON Clip Pulls a HONEY, I BLEW UP THE KID

For those of you who want something absurd to watch this Halloween season, Lionsgate has got you in mind with today’s DVD, Digital, and OnDemand release of the horror comedy Snake Outta Compton! The film follows a rap group that must face off against a giant snake in order to get their record deal locked down. Y’know, because everyone knows that in order to get signed, you have to defeat a monster. Makes total sense!

Today, we’ve got a clip from the film that shows the genesis of the titular creature in question. Turns out it all stems from what appears to be a bullying incident against the wrong neighborhood nerd. Add one part a pissed off Urkel looking fella, one enlarging laser, and a snake that grows too big for its tank and you’ve suddenly got a recipe for giant monster disaster! Check out the clip above!

It’s a great day in South Central: Cam and his hip-hop crew are all set to sign a record deal that could change their lives. But their jealous friend Vurkel wrecks their plans when he creates a giant, mutant snake that quickly lays waste to the city of Compton, eating everyone in its path. Soon Cam, Pinball, Neon, and Beez Neez cook up a crazy scheme to stop the monstrous, munching menace—blow it away it by pumping up the jams!

Directed by Hank Braxtan, who co-wrote the film with Tim Johnson, James Kondelik, Jon Kondelik, and Ashley Scott Meyers, Snake Outta Compton stars Ricky Flowers Jr., Motown Maurice, Donte Essien, Aurelia Michael, and Joston Theney.
