Behind-the-Scenes Featurette Will Get You Pumped for James Wan’s AQUAMAN
Aquaman seems like an unlikely superhero for Dread Central to be writing about; while many superheroes skirt the line between protagonist and villain (like Batman, Spawn, and Deadpool), Aquaman is about as benign and G-rated as you can get. When kids play Justice League on the playground, no one wants to be boring old Aquaman.
But the upcoming Aquaman motion picture has had our attention from the beginning for one major reason: It’s being helmed by 21st Century Master of Horror James Wan, the filmmaker behind the Saw and Conjuring franchises (among many other tales of terror). If Wan’s behind the camera, Dread Central (and our readers) pay attention.

We understand your skepticism, believe me, but a new behind-the-scenes featurette for Aquaman just might change your expectations. You can’t help but get excited by Wan’s enthusiasm, not to mention his promise that his film will be a re-introduction of Aquaman to the world. He’s sent to unleash characters that are both fantastic and harrowing, set in a world both beautiful and terrifying.
Give the featurette a spin below, followed by the synopsis and trailer for Aquaman; the film stars Amber Heard, Dolph Lundgren, and Jason Momoa. Look for it in US theaters beginning December 21st.
Synopsis:
Aquaman finds himself caught between a surface world that ravages the sea and the underwater Atlanteans who are ready to revolt.
