(Spoilers) Concept Art from Tokyo Comic-Con Reveals Major Clashes in GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS

Those attending Tokyo Comic-Con this weekend were treated to 40 seconds of new footage from Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters; hopefully, the rest of us will see it as well in the form of a new trailer in the coming days or weeks. What we can share at this time, though, is some incredible concept art that hints at the clash of titans to come!

In one image, Godzilla and the three-headed King Ghidorah are locked in battle on land, perhaps above the ice of Antarctica; the second shows the warring beasts underwater. Give them both a look-see below, followed by the synopsis and trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Synopsis:
Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Dougherty directed Godzilla: King of the Monsters from a screenplay penned by Zach Shields; the film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, and Sally Hawkins. Look for the film to stomp into US theaters beginning May 31st, 2019.

What do you think of the concept art for Godzilla: King of the Monsters out of Tokyo Comic-Con? Are you looking forward to seeing the film next summer? Sound off in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!
