GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS Teaser Leaks Out of Tokyo Comic-Con
Just to be crystal clear, this is not full-trailer we’re expecting to see next week for Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Still, the footage Twitter user #WonderGal (@amazonheroicon) recorded at Tokyo Comic-Con offers a taste of what’s in store. It’s kind of a copy of a copy, as #WonderGal snagged the footage on a smartphone as it was being shown on a huge movie screen.
Still, we hear more dialog from Millie Bobby Brown; we see crowds filling streets as a city crumbles around them, and we see some aerial footage from inside the cockpit of a fighter jet. It’s exciting, and definitely kicks the King of the Monsters buzz up a notch!
You know we’ll be bringing you the new trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters just as soon as it drops. In the meantime, check out #WonderGal’s footage above and the film’s official synopsis and last trailer below. Enjoy!

Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
Michael Dougherty directed Godzilla: King of the Monsters from a screenplay penned by Zach Shields; in addition to Brown, the film stars Vera Farmiga, Sally Hawkins, and Kyle Chandler. Look for the film to stomp into US theaters beginning May 31st, 2019.
