GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS Toys Reveal Creature Design for King Ghidorah, Rodan & Mothra
While we’re still waiting for money shots of the titans Godzilla will battle in Michael Dougherty’s Godzilla: King of the Monsters, a line of toys (produced by S.H. MonsterArts) presented this weekend at Tokyo Comic-Con gives us our best look yet at the 3-headed dragon King Ghidorah, the pterodactyl throwback Rodan, and the giant insect Mothra!
Give the images a look-see below; we’ve included the King himself, Godzilla, even though we’ve gotten some pretty good looks at him already. Below the toys, check out the synopsis and trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, arriving in US theaters on May 31st.
Synopsis:
Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species-thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
Dougherty directed Godzilla: King of the Monsters from a screenplay penned by Zach Shields; the film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, and Sally Hawkins. Look for the film to stomp into US theaters beginning May 31st, 2019.
