STRANGER THINGS 3 Video Game is Based on the Unknown Plot of Season 3
Our first hint at what’s in store for us in Season 3 of Stranger Things (beyond the fact that a mall features prominently) may have come from a preview of the video game Stranger Things 3. It was revealed towards the end of last night’s Game Awards and it’s apparently based on the plot for Season 3, rumored to be hitting Netflix sometime this summer.
Whether or not this means series masterminds Matt and Ross Duffer have planted Easter Eggs is for you to investigate in the clip above is for you to decide. Stranger Things 3 is a 16-bit top-down action game, which is apropos for the era the horror/sci-fi series takes place. We’ve been told to expect big things in Season 3, so there’s a chance gamers will have a jump on deciphering the series—if the game drops first.
