Do the Episode Titles Revealed for STRANGER THINGS Season 3 Offer Clues to What’s in Store?

When Stranger Things returns to Netflix in the Summer of 2019, we’ll be taken back to the Summer of 1985. While we already know that the newly-constructed Starcourt Mall will feature prominently in the horror/sci-fi series’ third season, but otherwise, clues as to what fans can expect have been scant.

While show creators Matt and Ross Duffer have previously promised that Season 3 will be the darkest chapter yet, we can now start theorizing about the next supernatural dramas descending on Hawkins, Indiana in a couple places. The first is the trailer for Stranger Things 3, a video game announced at The Game Awards last week that’s said to mirror the upcoming season’s plotline (link below).

We still don’t have an official synopsis, but cast members include Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, FinnWolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, Sadie Sink as Max, and Priah Ferguson as Erica. Newcomers include Cary Elwes, Jake Busey, Maya Thurman-Hawke, and Francesca Reale.
