Trailer for MANDY Video Game Now Available for Free Download
It’s been about three weeks since we brought news that Mandy uber-fan Abel Alves was designing a 1980’s era-appropriate video game based on Panos Cosmatos’ psychedelic, sophomore splatterfest. Today, we can announce that Alves has finished his 16-bit opus and, now, you can be a pixelized version of Red Miller on a mad quest for vengeance!

Creators Statement:
Mandy the Videogame is a freeware classic16-bit video game inspired by the world of the movie Mandy. In this game you will play with Red, fighting demonic motorbikers, mad fanatics, and other crazy enemies; trying to revenge his girlfriend, the charming Mandy. This game was created using the software Arcade Game Studio. Check it out! Some background tilesets were created by Carl Olsson. Check out his pixel-art. The music and effects were made by Son of Brothers Studio. By the way, Mandy the Videogame is completely free, so please make sure you share it with your friends!

Synopsis:
In the Pacific Northwest in 1983, outsiders Red Miller and Mandy Bloom lead a loving and peaceful existence. When their pine-scented haven is savagely destroyed by a cult led by the sadistic Jeremiah Sand, Red is catapulted into a phantasmagoric journey filled with bloody vengeance and laced with deadly fire.
