Motion Poster for HELLBOY Summons the Fire & Fury of The Abyss

Posters have always been a hugely important element of marketing any movie, but recent advances in technology have allowed promoters to really bring these 2-dimensional necessities to life. We recently shared a 3D image from the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary along with our own exclusive motion poster for the impending disaster flick The Quake.

Yesterday, a new motion poster for Hellboy hit the internet—and it summons all the fire and fury of the Pit! It was shared via Instagram by Hellboy star David Harbour and includes sound in addition to moving graphics. Give it a look-see below, followed by the synopsis for Hellboy; the trailer is slated for release tomorrow.

Synopsis:
Based on the graphic novels by Mike Mignola, Hellboy, caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge.

In addition to Harbour, Hellboy stars Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, and Sasha Lane. Look for it to arrive in US theaters beginning April 12th.
