We’re coming up on the December 11th/12th airing on A&E of Mick Garris’ two-part adaptation of Stephen King’s Bag of Bones so of course more promo materials are floating around the Net like a tiny corpse in the middle of a giant lake. Check out a trio of new stills from Cemetary Dance and a couple of TV spots that popped up on the show’s Facebook page.
Mick Garris’ four-hour long adaptation stars Melissa George, Jason Priestly, Pierce Brosnan, Annabeth Gish, William Schallert, and Anika Noni Rose.
Bag of Bones is based on a Stephen King novel about a writer (Brosnan) trying to recover from the death of his wife. A dream inspires him to return to the couple’s lakeside retreat in western Maine, where he becomes involved in a custody battle between the daughter of an attractive young widow (George) and the child’s enormously wealthy grandfather while dealing with mysterious ghostly visitations, ever-escalating nightmares, and the realization that his late wife still has something to tell him.
Be sure to “like” Bag of Bones on Facebook, and don’t forget to check out the Dark Score Stories website, where you can learn about some of the back stories of the characters in A&E’s upcoming television adaptation and a whole lot more.
