Tobias Forge Says No New Ghost Album Until 2020: “From Our Perspective 2019 is Already Over”

Ghost mastermind and frontman Tobias Forge recently sat down for an interview with the folks at Lourwire to talk at length about what he and his merry band of Nameless Ghouls in 2019. In a word: Touring. In addition to playing arena dates in Europe and festivals in Australia, the theatrical metal outfit will be supporting Metallica on the road for four entire months.

While Forge is excited to bring Ghost to major markets the band has yet to visit, this clearly puts plans for a new album on the back-burner. He mentions writing new material in 2019, but told fans not to expect a new album until 2020: “From our perspective, 2019 is already over.”

Ghost’s last album was Prequelle, released earlier this year. Check out the video for “Dance Macabre” below and keep up to date with the band at their official website, HERE.
