“Preda-pede” is the Most Terrifying Hybrid We Didn’t See in Shane Black’s THE PREDATOR
Since Shane Black’s reboot of 1987’s Predator, The Predator, arrived on Blu-ray/DVD and Digital HD, we’ve seen a literal torrent of unused concept art from the film. We’ve seen Predator monkeys, Predator lizards, a Predator human, and (most recently) a creepy-crawly Predator spider. Recently, however, artist Jared Krichevsky shared the most hideous creature we didn’t see in The Predator: The Preda-pede! As the name suggests, this monstrosity comes from a combination of Predator and centipede DNA. And we thought human centipedes were hideous! Have a look below.
If you missed The Predator while it was in theaters, the film is now available on Blu-ray/DVD and VOD (as previously mentioned). Give the trailer and synopsis and gander below. Synopsis:
From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of
suburbia, the hunt comes home. The universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger,
smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves
with DNA from other species. When a boy accidentally triggers their return to
Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and an evolutionary biologist can
prevent the end of the human race.
