First Look: Tyler Durden Lives in FIGHT CLUB 3 Graphic Novel Sequel by Chuck Palahniuk

“Tyler Durden lives and, this time, even he doesn’t know the rules…”

In that case, let’s talk about Fight Club! Not only will 2019 mark the 20th anniversary of David Fincher’s breakout megahit, Fight Club novelist and mastermind Chuck Palahniuk has penned a sequel that will arrive later this month in comic book form from Dark Horse Entertainment (the same publishers behind Hellboy, 300, Sin City, and The Mask). Look for the first issue of Fight Club 3 to hit shelves on January 30th.

As the title suggests, this is Palahniuk’s second graphic sequel to the book that spawned the feature film. Fight Club 2: The Tranquility Gambit ran in 2015.

The folks at Deadline got an exclusive first look at the artwork contained in Issue #1 of Fight Club 3, which we’re pleased to share with you below.

Synopsis:
Marla, her first son, and her husband — the unnamed narrator in the novel, who now goes by Balthazar — live in a run-down motel in a sketchy neighborhood. In the Fight Club 2 graphic novel, Tyler transformed Project Mayhem into Rize or Die. Now, a new group has implemented a ruthless and deviant plan to fine-tune mankind, leading Balthazar to forge an unlikely alliance… with Tyler Durden.

Fight Club 3 features the art of Cameron Stewart with colorist Dave McCaig and letterer Nate Piekos.
