Hunters Become the Hunted in Trailer for Cabin in the Woods Horror Movie BETWEEN THE TREES
Hylophobia is the technical term for the fears of the woods, and if I wasn’t born with it, being a life-long horror fan has fostered me a scorching case of the condition! Between disembodied ghoulies, home invaders, and even Sasquatch, you’d be hard pressed to get me to willingly spend the night in anything resembling the setting of The Blair Witch Project.
So, of course, I was rattled by the trailer after watching the trailer for Between the Trees, which looks like a mix of Wrong Turn and 30 Days of Night. From director Brad Douglas (Besetment), and starring Greg James (Grimm), Michael Draper (Z Nation) and Jonny Lee (Hawaii Five-0), Between the Trees arrives On Demand and digital HD March 5th followed by a DVD release on June 11th.
Synopsis:
Steve, suffering from a collapsing marriage, invites his three closest friends on a weekend retreat to the mountains only to discover his real troubles are in the trees that surround them. They encounter a deranged killer and their fun weekend becomes a deadly fight for survival.
