METALLICA’s Kirk Hammett Bringing His Horror and Sci-Fi Collection to Toronto’s ROM This Year

Later this year, Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) will be host to one incredible art exhibition when Metallica‘s Kirk Hammett brings his It’s Alive! Classic Horror and Sci-Fi Art collection for everyone to see and walk through! The event, which will take place July 13, 2019 through January 5, 2020, will see rare film posters, artwork, props, and costumes all put on display, allowing attendees to, “…explore the connection between artistry, emotion, and the dark side of popular culture.”

More information will be made available as it comes out but just knowing that this collection is going to be available for the public to see is rather incredible! Hammett has been known to collect some of the most obscure, rare, and fascinating pieces of memorabilia the horror world has to offer. This is truly a treat for all horror fans willing to make the journey!
