THE AMITYVILLE HORROR Meets THE DEVIL’S CANDY in Trailer for Supernatural Creeper BROKEN GHOST
Something about the trailer for Film Mode Entertainment’s Broken Ghost that’s very reminiscent of The Amityville Horror; there’s also a theme of artistic madness that flows throughout, reminding this journalist of The Devil’s Candy. These tropes collide with substantial impact, teasing a supernatural creeper with a creative twist. Add a dash of found footage/techno horror and you’ve got all the ingredients for maximum terror.
Broken Ghost is directed by Richard Gray who tells us:
“We’re thrilled that folks are going to be able to experience our movie, we had a ball making it. I was so taken by the originality of the script. Imogen’s story of rising above harrowing bullying and depression really took hold of me, and to be able to tell it on such a large canvas. I love ghost stories, but the human elements, including the empowerment of the female leads in Broken Ghost are what make the film so special to us.”
